I bought my Pottery Barn journal set almost 2 years ago. Last year I finally got serious about jotting down a few pages every month. My motivation was to help avoid repeating the same missteps year after year …like driving to the desert the SAME day Coachella starts – OMG (2 hr trip turns into a 4 hour hot poker ride from h-e-double hockey sticks).
I love the bright colors.
As I open APRIL today I am reminded that last year at this time the weather was much hotter, weekends of 80º+ temps = sunburned little bodies. Traffic coming home from the desert was light on Easter (shocker) and at this time lst year I had already booked summer camps (oops I am behind). I like looking back at the quick notes I leave myself. Sometimes its laughable but other times I slump in my chair when I realize that I haven’t really made much progress on some or I should say most issues (personal red flag). Always good to check-in with yourself.
