April

This month I was all over the place. trying to figure out how to balance this new hobby of mine while dealing with my ongoing earaches (think shoving a pencil in your ear kind of pain). I scored Prime Short Ribs and was given an impromptu butcher lesson on all the different cuts of beef (that was very cool). I won a dozen roses from one of my favorite local blogs (MFE) and I  traveled to my first Bloggy Boot Camp in Arizona and solidified some lasting friendships. Our bearded dragon Chompers was starting to get active again with the arrival of Spring, the “painted ladies” came back briefly, I obsessed over the Johnathan Adler collection at Barnes & Noble and my love affair with sushi continued.

Ok May I took over 200 photos on my phone. BIG month.. anniversaries followed by weekends without kids (amen), lots of eating out followed by more cooking and drinking. I’ll let the slide show spell it out. It’s all captioned for you because well that’s how I roll.

June

Birthdays, RA Sushi, Sugar Press stationary (custom modchik stamps), came out of the Clutter Closet, indulged in Powdered Sugar donuts (another weakness), rescued my fair share of birds that month, planted our raised bed garden and more sushi with my sister and brother in law.
