July

A week before we set to take off for a vacation to Boston my daughter discovered she could give herself bangs. She actually did a fairly decent job. A haircut and some quick packing and we set off for Massachusetts. I still need to blog about that trip I took about 1000 photos (just a few).

August

I went to San Francisco with @Ksugarandspice for Bloggy Boot Camp had an incredible weekend just to get away from it all, by August our IRS audit was in full swing.  I wanted to write about the fleet of Kogi trucks that travel throughout LA and Orange County, its a Korean BBQ restaurant on wheels and to catch one of their trucks you need to follow them on twitter @KOGIBBQ where there tweet out their locations or you can find the schedule online . I found the Naranja truck off the 55 and inhaled a few tacos.

September

Indian summers brought beautiful sunsets and unseasonably warm temperatures, Honey Crisp apples arrived and I made new friends (Andre) at Whole Foods. We found heirloom tomatoes the size of my daughter’s head, made cinnamon coffee cake, lasagna and of course there’s always the weekly stop an In-N-Out burger.

more September… the year of the Rat came a little early, I trapped 3 of them in 48 hours by accident. Cheerios and sunglasses in a trash can seems to be the winning bait!
