As soon as the kids go back to school I start to think about fall and the upcoming holidays and then that itch to revamp my entire home starts again. I settle on one room, two if I can do the entire thing at Target. Inspired by the series on the Target blog A Bullseye View I present my take on What’s In Your Cart. I think this may just have to become a regular feature in the rotation, especial with the highly anticipated Holiday Gift Shop by Neiman Marcus (coming Dec 1).
I made two trips last week, the first without the kids. I literally went there for the sole purpose of pleasure and to decompress. I didn’t have any lists I just wanted to check out what was new. Boy I had no idea all the cool designer shops they have now. Not to mention they started filling the seasonal section with Halloween decor, another weakness of mine but more about that later. As I headed towards checkout I ran into an old friend, we screamed and hugged and then she peered into my cart and said “well I can see some things don’t change.”
Truer words have not been spoken. Let’s shop.

And here’s where I go nuts when I find (what’s left) the new Patch NYC shop. Two Bawston based designers and their love for the eclectics teams up with Target to design a line of home decor items. Check them out. My favorite from the collection that’s a tough one, has to be either the owl lamp or the ceramic pitcher.
