I have been a collector of Blue Q for a very long time. I think it started years ago when a bunch of us new moms decided we should stock the house full of mac n’ cheese and Huggies and BLOW THIS POPSICLE STAND! Girls Vegas trips were more than just a chance to unwind and drop a few f-bombs at will, they were excuses for endless shopping that always ensued about a month before the scheduled departure.
My favorite part? Goody bags. Swag for my fellow roomies complete with a hang tag with an oath that everyone had to pledge thier allegiance to, it usually read something like:
“I (state your name), do solemnly swear that as I will respect and honor my fellow b*tches and will not reveal any events about to take place this weekend. I understand that violating this oath will spread bad karma upon my being and may result in severe bloating and cramping… blah blah blah”
I know who has time to make that **** up? Me that’s who. I used to blow my entire months diaper budget on these goody bags for good reason. The swag was a highly coveted item on these trips and usually included a few things like VS thong (complete with your nickname bedazzled on them), a hangover kit, candy necklaces (permission to act like a kid that weekend and/or props) and something from the Dirty Girl collection at Blue Q like…
of course there are also car air fresheners
and gum…
and breath spray
To this day I still find new things on Blue Q. The site just keeps me from taking life too seriously.

My favorites are the big totes. Made from 95% post consumer recycled material!
My sister first turned me on to the idea of ditching the paper and using a Blue Q totes instead.

I discovered Helen on ETSY so when I heard she designed for Blue Q I was so happy to have her art plastered all over my STUFF!
Her work is quirky and colorful and just makes makes me smile. ♥
