the Birthday Boy
We are celebrating another birthday this month in our home. My son (the Gemini) was born just a few weeks before his dad (the “triple” Cancer). I remember my husband holding our 3 week old baby at his surprise (hence the golf attire) 40th birthday like it was yesterday.
That ‘baby’ turned 13 just the the other day. THIRTEEN!
Now that we have a teenage son in our home I can not tell you how thankful I am that I have my husband helping me and guiding me through the teenage minefield. He grew up the middle child with 2 brothers of his own.
as the middle child he was always looking out for his baby brother
his mom used to to tell me as a baby he was not easy to please I never understood this …until we had our daughter.
he was destined to take care of people… (and forgive me for including this photo but you know you and your daughter play the same game.)
my kids look just like him.
and the curls?….
Our kids are so lucky to have not only your stellar genes, your smarts and your gentle nature but to have you as their dad. We hope today you get all the things you want, a low golf score, German Chocolate Cake, a Halo victory and maybe a little peace and quiet. (baby girl photo by Amber Theiss Photography)
