Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite skin care lines Boscia. I discovered the line back in 2004 while my girlfriend and I were doing a little holiday shopping. I came across this line described to me as a skincare line from Japan that was botanically-based and preservative-free. Being a person with sensitive and problematic skin I was elated there were no perfumes, ingredients were plant based and the night cream wasn’t 100 dollars an ounce. The first product I bought was the Travel Kit (Normal to Dry). It has ( my favorite cleanser ever) Soothing Cleansing Cream, Balancing Facial Tonic (spray), Vital Daily Moisture SPF15, Recharging Night Moisture and Lavender Blotting Linens. I used this and within a week my skin was no longer angry. I still use the same regimen every day seven years later. Now if that’s not testimony I don’t know what is. Of course over the years they have developed new products that I have added including
MakeUp Breaking Cool Cleansing Oil. Have you every tried a cleansing oil? They are great for taking off make up without stripping the moisture. It may seem strange at first that your cleanser is oily but I’m telling you it works and if you have dry skin, even with t-zone issues this product works. I rotate this with the Soothing Cleansing Cream.
I also love the Sheer Tinted Moisturizer but before you get excited I just learned it has been discontinued, BOSCIA PLEASE BRING THIS BACK!! With my over 40 skin I can’t pull off thick foundation, it makes me look even older. This product has just the right amount of coverage, and when the winter comes and my excema flares up it smooths out the redness without irritating my skin. I really hope they bring it back if they don’t I’ll have to go back to Laura Mercier.
They also have a couple newer lines, the Black Collection featuring the Luminizing Black Mask and the Restorative Regimen. Both on my Christmas list.
The best way to find Boscia is to visit Sephora or Ulta, available in the US and Canada as well as a couple Sephoras in Hong Kong and Signapore. You can also order their product online. Tip: when you sign up to receive emails you get a free shipping code which you are charged if your order is under $50. If you like them on facebook you’ll see the latest promotions, good discounts and/or freebies.
