Ive been home over a week and Im just now getting around to scanning some of my Polaroid shots. I am already seeing some fading, especially with the black and white shots from Impossible. I am begging to feel like I am in a dysfunctional relationship with this film. It treats me badly yet I keep coming back for more. Ugh.
So much for doing a cleanse this week. In’N Out, welcome home.
Sorting with no game plan other than use the hallway to group your colors. Again welcome home.
My niece is 11. She had a horse from Shea Center (rehabilitation through equine aka hippotherapy) come and the girls drew on him with colored shaving cream and hair bows. He was so patient.
Her friends want to ‘gram a party pic! So sweet to do the everyday regular stuff with Lil, they have no idea how much this means to her (to us.)
I found him in my room they are alligator lizards?? …. and they bite WTF.
Dont say it conspiracy theorists.
They are in force this week, multiple hatchings every day.
My go to dish
Saute in a pan 1-2 clove (s) of minced garlic in 3 TBL Olive Oil … add a handful of halved cherry tomatoes (or yellow pear) saute until softened … add a couple TBL of chopped fresh basil flip pan until just wilted add a handful of TOASTED pine nuts, (you gotta toast them in a small pan on med/high they are sooooo much better) add Al Dente Capellini (angle hair) pasta – did you know the more under cooked your pasta is, the lower the glycemic index?
I made the image above with Jaqui’s photo of Ryan, this to cope with my own aching heart over a her and her husbands sudden loss of their child on Friday night. Utterly devastating. I have a new source of inspiration now, Jaqui’s blog. They have been open about their loss and how they are winging it (beautifully I must add) in the wake of such tragedy. No one should out live their children. #redballoonsforryan
I’m playing around with phone photos from NYC using Blender App – reviewed on Mortal Muses
I love a good neuroscience book with a cold beer!
Mother’s Day … plan A fell through. Plan B included pecan waffles.
me: you have to push the ….
him: are you seriously telling me how to take a phone photo?
texter: hey are you at Kean coffee right now?
me: No, is my doppelganger there?
texter: no, but I wish you were.
me: give me 15 minutes
texter: no way!
For the love of Peet! = that’s our shoebox of a backyard from our first home. That’s Super B circa I wanna say 2000. My friends sends me this and points out they will be leaving for college in approximately t-minus 12 months.
